Looker
Google Cloud's enterprise BI platform, governed by a version-controlled LookML semantic layer.
Looker is Google Cloud's enterprise BI platform, not to be confused with Looker Studio: metrics and joins are defined once in LookML, a modeling language versioned in Git, and queries run live against the warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres) with no extracts. Explores, dashboards, alerts, the API and the Embed SDK all sit on that single model, with row-level security driven by user attributes. It's our choice when a company needs one governed source of truth for its KPIs and analytics embedded in its own products.
